Overview
Graduate Roads and Streets Engineer Graduate Programme at Arup.
The successful candidate will join the Roads and Streets team in Ireland and contribute to planning and design of roads and streets projects, including road improvements, new roads, urban street design, public realm improvements, public transport priority measures, active travel and greenway projects.
Responsibilities
Prepare technical designs for projects, including geometrical alignment and drainage, drawings, reports, correspondence, and other outputs in accordance with approved design standards and procedures in line with the delivery programme.
Undertake research to inform updates to existing and the development of new national design standards and policy.
Ensure that relevant legislation, regulations, policies, strategies, and technical guidance are interpreted and communicated across the team with guidance from senior staff.
Implement the appropriate QA procedures for all deliverables and ensure compliance with H&S requirements.
Communicate effectively in a team environment with roads and streets team colleagues, project managers, other internal design disciplines, clients, and contractors.
What we are looking for
We are seeking graduates who are currently working towards a Level 8 Degree in Civil/Environmental Engineering or Environment Management or similar Transport, planning or environmental management related final year project/masters desirable.
