Your Responsibilities
* Be the primary day-to-day contact for a wide-ranging portfolio of clients and build and maintain trusted relationships with them.
* Manage the delivery of technically complex and demanding consulting projects for clients, ensuring technical excellence and a practical, business-driven approach.
* Proactively undertake business development to add value to existing clients and develop opportunities with new clients.
* Contribute to people initiatives, including retaining and training team members and developing junior team members through effective supervision, coaching and mentoring.
Requirements
* Strong corporate tax technical skills with a qualification such as ACA/CA/CTA or equivalent tax specialist qualification (or breadth of knowledge equivalent to a Tax specialist qualification).
* Client-facing experience with a proven track record of identifying and converting opportunities to generate new work through business development.
* Ability to problem-solve creatively and pragmatically, recognizing tax technical and commercial implications of advice.
* Experience in project management, with the ability to plan and prioritise work, meet deadlines, and monitor budgets.
