Job Title: Technical Manager
Salary: €65,000 - €70,000
Location: County Cavan, Ireland
We are currently seeking an experienced Quality Manager/ Technical to join a dynamic and rapidly expanding Food Manufacturing organization.
In this role, you will report directly to the Group Technical Manager and oversee all quality-related aspects within one of the company's state-of-the-art facilities.
Key Responsibilities: Advise on all technical aspects of factory production to ensure that products meet customer expectations and comply with legal standards, particularly in food safety and quality.
Collaborate with the factory team to promote continuous improvement, with a strong emphasis on maintaining and improving product quality standards.
Foster and maintain strong relationships with both customers and internal teams to ensure smooth operations.
Ensure the facility is always audit-ready and compliant with necessary standards.
Maintain the company's BRC accreditation annually.
Ensure that all customer quality requirements are consistently met.
Address any non-conformances promptly and efficiently.
Conduct audits and inspections, resolving any issues that arise.
Prepare and present detailed reports for management review.
Ideal Candidate: Proven experience as a Quality/Technical Manager, with a strong understanding of quality control processes.
Solid working knowledge of BRC standards, food legislation, and HACCP protocols.
Demonstrated leadership abilities with a focus on team development.
Previous experience working with external customers is highly desirable.
Strong report writing and documentation skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to adapt to changing working hours and requirements.
A third-level qualification is preferred.
A valid driver's license is required.
