We're looking for a detail-oriented and highly organised Bookkeeper/Senior Accounts Assistant to support the financial operations of our family owned Construction Company.
This is a part-time role and it is ideal for someone who enjoys variety in their day-to-day work and has the ability work under their own initiative.
Key Responsibilities:
* Issue customer invoices and manage accounts receivable
* Process supplier invoices and manage accounts payable
* Prepare and submit VAT, RCT & PAYE returns
* Reconcile payments and bank accounts
* Process weekly payroll using Bright pay, including site staff timesheets
* Project costing- Monitor Project costs in collaboration with our director
* Maintain accurate financial records to trial balance and liaise with our external accountant with year end.
* Contribute to finance system improvements and general administration.
Essential Requirements:
Experience in a financial administration, finance assistant, or accounts role
* Solid knowledge of VAT ,PAYE and RCT compliance and submissions
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g. sort my books )
* Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
* Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
* Previous experience in the Construction Industry is preferred

Pay: €20.00-€25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 8 – 10 per week
