Job Title: Dementia Care Professional
We are seeking a full-time Dementia Advisor to work in the Co Clare area under a permanent contract. This role involves acting as a key point of contact for individuals concerned about cognitive health or living with a dementia diagnosis, as well as their families and friends.
Key Responsibilities:
* Providing practical assistance, advice, emotional support, and accurate information to individuals and families affected by dementia.
* Directing individuals and families to appropriate services and helping them navigate the health and social care systems effectively.
Requirements:
* A primary degree or equivalent in a relevant health or social care discipline.
* Strong understanding of dementia and its impacts.
* Practical experience working with individuals with dementia.
* Familiarity with the community care sector and a commitment to professional development.
Skills and Qualifications:
* Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
* A client-focused approach.
* A full, clean driving license.
