* 5+ years' experience in payroll management in complex, high-volume environments
* Proven experience leading large teams and managing multi-jurisdictional payrolls
* Strong systems/process improvement mindset with analytical skills
* Excellent stakeholder and team management capability
* Relevant payroll qualifications (e.g., IPASS, CIPP, CPP) desirable
Role and Reporting Lines
Reporting to the Head of HR, you will lead a high-performing payroll team and manage payroll operations across Ireland and international locations:
* Leadership – Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing payroll team
* Payroll Delivery – Oversee weekly, fortnightly, and monthly payroll cycles
* Compliance – Ensure alignment with regulatory, statutory, and internal controls
* Process Optimisation – Drive automation, system enhancement and efficiency
* Stakeholder Engagement – Act as primary point of contact for payroll matters
* Third-Party Management – Liaise with international payroll providers and Revenue
* Governance – Oversee audits, implement policy changes, and lead compliance reporting
* Change Management – Lead payroll input into transformation and system upgrade initiatives
