This is a senior leadership role requiring strong technical expertise, communication skills, and the ability to drive operational excellence and process improvements across the reporting function.Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial Statement Production: Prepare and oversee preparation of annual, quarterly, and ad-hoc financial statements for UCITS, AIFs, and other fund structures.Audit Management: Coordinate and manage external audits, liaising with auditors and addressing technical queries.Compliance: Ensure adherence to IFRS, US GAAP, Lux GAAP, and Irish regulatory requirements.Process Improvement: Lead initiatives to enhance efficiency, consistency, and risk mitigation within the financial reporting operating model.Client Relationship Management: Act as the primary point of contact for clients and auditors, delivering high-quality service and resolving complex issues.Team Leadership: Manage, coach, and develop financial reporting teams, ensuring effective performance management and succession planning.Regulatory Reporting: Oversee regulatory filings with the Central Bank of Ireland and other relevant authorities.Strategic Projects: Support new fund launches and contribute to business development activities by providing financial reporting expertise.Qualifications & ExperienceEducation: Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.Professional Qualification: ACA, ACCA, CPA, CIMA, or CFA.Experience:Minimum 10+ years in financial reporting for funds or auditing fund clients.Strong knowledge of IFRS, US GAAP, Lux GAAP, and FRS 102.Proven leadership experience in managing teams and driving process improvements.Technical Skills:Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel essential).Experience with fund accounting and reporting systems (e.g., Geneva, Confluence).Soft Skills:Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.If there's anything we can do to accommodate a disability during any portion of the application or hiring process, please refer to our disability accommodations for applicants.
