Technical Sales Engineer
Location: Cork, Ireland
About the Role
We're looking for a Technical Sales Engineer to drive sales growth and market presence in the process industries, including pharmaceutical, food & beverage, and other key sectors. You'll work closely with customers and internal teams to develop solutions, grow business, and champion process safety initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage and grow assigned customer accounts to increase revenue and profitability.
* Drive the full customer lifecycle from identifying opportunities to closing sales.
* Identify and develop new prospects in target sectors.
* Build expertise in customer applications and act as a solutions specialist.
* Support business development across Ireland and the UK.
* Collaborate with internal teams on sales and marketing initiatives.
* Maintain accurate records in the CRM and provide regular sales reporting.
* Ensure compliance with company policies, including health & safety and data protection.
Candidate Profile
* 5+ years' experience in sales within industrial or process sectors.
* Strong track record of technical and commercial sales success.
* Ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
* Willingness to travel throughout Ireland and occasionally overseas.
* Full, clean driving license.
Essential Skills & Experience
* Experience managing multiple customer accounts and the full sales cycle.
* Knowledge of industrial automation or process technologies.
* Proven ability to meet ambitious sales targets.
* Comfortable using CRM and sales tools to manage opportunities.
