Business Development & Account Manager

Location: Dublin (Hybrid)

HCS is growing, and we're expanding our Sales Team. We're looking for an experienced Business Development & Account Manager who excels at building trusted relationships, understanding customer needs, and driving recurring revenue growth.

About the Role

This is a dual-focused position combining strategic account management and new business development. You will manage a portfolio of key clients while actively driving growth through new opportunities. Your ability to understand business challenges, propose tailored solutions, and engage confidently with senior stakeholders will be central to your success.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Relationship Management

* Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with stakeholders across your customer portfolio.
* Act as a trusted advisor, supporting customers in achieving their business and technology goals.

Sales & Revenue Growth

* Identify and convert new business opportunities across both existing and new clients.
* Drive upsell and cross-sell opportunities to increase recurring revenue.
* Manage a sales pipeline and meet/exceed monthly and quarterly targets.

Solution Delivery & Collaboration

* Work closely with technical teams to ensure solutions are scoped, delivered, and supported effectively.
* Partner with support and cross-functional teams to ensure an exceptional customer experience.

Account Management

* Lead regular business reviews, manage renewals, uplifts, and contract discussions.
* Maintain accurate CRM records and provide timely reporting.

Market & Technology Insight

* Stay up to date with emerging technologies, market trends, and vendor partner offerings.
* Leverage this knowledge to advise customers and enhance solution proposals.

About You

* 5+ years' experience in Account Management, Business Development, or a similar role in IT, technology.
* Proven success in building strong customer relationships
* Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
* Strong organisational skills with high attention to detail
* Self-motivated, target-driven, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
