The Centre of Food Culture is seeking to add to its board of directors, by recruiting a voluntary board member with expertise in the education sector in Ireland.

The Centre of Food Culture is a social enterprise with a vision to support a vibrant, creative, sustainable, regenerative and interconnected food culture for all. Our mission is to create the first national centre for food and drink culture, originated in the Boyne Valley region, to facilitate education, discussion, enterprise and advocacy by connecting people to their food, soil and sea.

As a Board Member, you will provide strategic direction, oversight, and governance to the executive team to ensure the Centre of Food Culture fulfils the vision and mission set out by the founding members of the organisation in a sustainable and impactful way. Board members champion the organisation’s values, contribute their expertise, and serve as ambassadors.

* Oversee the implementation of new policies and procedures and ensure they remain in line with the vision for the organisation
* Act as an advocate for the Centre of Food Culture, to support its development
