Position Description
The Supervisor will be a core part of a team in a high-growth area of SEI.
This individual will be responsible for maintaining and reviewing the accounting books and records of the Funds in the team, including the calculation of the Net Asset Value, preparation of financial statements and regulatory reporting, and forging strong internal relationships within their team and client.
What you'll do
Ensure that the review of the Fund's NAV is accurate and delivered on a timely basis
Review expense schedules, income calculations, capital activity calculations and fund fee calculations
Maintain and follow established controls during the NAV production cycle
Participate and lead in the preparation and readiness for new Fund launches within the team
Act as the initial point of contact for clients on fund accounting matters pertaining to NAV production
Build strong relationships within the team and with clients through query management and problem resolution
Collaborate with all SEI teams and third-party stakeholders during the NAV production cycle
Develop product knowledge through exposure to complex Fund structures and financial instruments
Supervise, train, coach and mentor analysts on core tasks, system processing/reporting and procedures
Participate in department initiatives and group projects as appropriate
Provide input and feedback regarding employees' performance and development appraisals
What you bring to the table
4+ years of experience in Fund operations with a focus on Alternative Funds (private markets experience preferred)
ACCA qualification is preferable but not essential
Effective written and oral communication skills
Experience with trial balance analysis, general ledger entries, and basic management and performance fee calculations
Experience working with closed-ended structures, reviewing Limited Partnership Agreements, operating manuals and fee agreements
Third-level qualification in Finance or Business (desirable)
