Job Description:
We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Paralegal to support our solicitors across various practice areas. This role involves working collaboratively as part of a team, with varying responsibilities depending on departmental needs.
Responsibilities:
* Taking instructions from solicitors and liaising with clients or third-party solicitors regarding queries.
* Attending court as required and conducting legal research on assigned cases.
* Assisting in preparing and collating briefs and providing administrative support, including photocopying, filing documents, and dictations.
* Handling files post-completion and releasing and scheduling title documents.
The ideal candidate will have the following skills and qualifications:
* A diploma in Legal Studies or a minimum of 1 year's experience in a legal or busy office environment.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
* Proactive and detail-oriented, with excellent attention to detail and high-quality work delivery.
* Motivated with the ability to act on initiative, proficient in MS Office suite.
