Our client is a well-established provider of commercial cleaning and facilities support services, operating across multiple sectors and delivering daily service to a broad portfolio of corporate, industrial, and public-sector clients. Opportunity:

The organisation is seeking a highly capable and structured Operations Manager to lead day-to-day operational delivery across its cleaning service contracts. This role is central to ensuring high service standards, maintaining strong client relationships, and improving the efficiency of workforce planning and payroll administration.

The successful candidate will bring hands-on operational leadership experience, strong familiarity with workforce management systems (Timegate or equivalent), and the ability to manage busy teams across multiple sites. This is an opportunity to take ownership of a fast-moving operation, drive performance improvements, and support the company's continued growth.

Responsibilities

:

* Oversee daily cleaning operations across multiple client sites, ensuring contractual obligations and quality standards are consistently met.
* Coordinate workflows, resource allocation, and service delivery to maintain a reliable and efficient operation.
* Lead and support site supervisors and cleaning teams, ensuring engagement, performance, and clear communication across all shifts.
* Provide coaching, problem resolution, and operational direction where needed.
* Use Timegate or similar workforce management tools to schedule shifts, track attendance, and manage staffing requirements.
* Coordinate the commercial team's schedules, including setup and breakdown activities for contracted services.
* Oversee time and attendance records, ensuring accuracy of payroll data and alignment with HR/payroll processes.
* Resolve discrepancies quickly and maintain clean administrative workflows.
* Act as the operational point of contact for clients, addressing queries, resolving issues swiftly, and ensuring strong service satisfaction.
* Support the mobilisation of new contracts, ensuring smooth onboarding, correct resource allocation, and readiness of teams and equipment.
* Ensure operations follow all required Health & Safety standards, legislation, and internal company policies.
* Promote a culture of safe working practices across all teams.
* Analyse operational data, KPIs, and Excel-based reporting to identify inefficiencies and drive improvements.
* Implement corrective actions and operational enhancements across sites.
* Anticipate operational challenges and react quickly to resolve issues in a high-pressure, fast-moving environment.
* Ensure continuity of service even under unexpected constraints.

Candidate Requirements

:

Essential

* Proven experience as an Operations Manager within cleaning services or facilities management.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, data analysis, and KPI reporting.
* Strong working knowledge of Timegate or other workforce management systems.
* Good understanding of payroll processes and time-and-attendance administration.
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage confidently with clients and teams.
* Highly organised, able to manage competing priorities and maintain attention to detail under pressure.
* Strong leadership capability with experience managing supervisors and frontline teams.
* Commitment to high operational standards and consistent service delivery.

Desirable

* Knowledge of cleaning-industry regulations, compliance requirements, and best practices.
* Experience managing client relationships and contract mobilisation.
* Relevant qualifications in Business, Operations, or Facilities Management.

Remuneration:

The role offers a base salary of €55,000 per year, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes a company vehicle, fuel card, pension contributions, and an annual Christmas bonus.
