We are seeking a skilled Driver / Pest Management Technician to join our team, combining professional pest control services with safe driving responsibilities.Job Description:This role encompasses conducting pest inspections, identifying pest entry points and hazards, applying pest control treatments, and driving company vehicles to client sites. The candidate will maintain records of services and ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.Key ResponsibilitiesInspect client premises for pests and potential environmental hazardsApply pest control treatments, including baits and traps, following company protocolsSafely apply pesticides in accordance with product label recommendations and all relevant legislation.Drive company vehicles safely and efficiently to various client locationsMaintain cleanliness and upkeep of vehicles and equipmentPrepare accurate reports and communicate clearly with clientsFollow all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulationsProvide excellent customer service and foster strong client relationshipsIdentify and carry out proofing requirements using practical manual skills to deliver professional results.Use the technician app to complete accurate site audit reports, documenting infestation levels and tailored recommendations.Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure efficient service delivery across contracts.Analyse customer needs, identify additional service requirements, and promote relevant solutions where appropriate.Plan and prioritize work to ensure productivity and timely completion of tasks.Conduct site risk assessments, comply with industry standards, and follow company protocols at all times.Be prepared to carry out work outdoors and in diverse environmental conditions.Qualifications & Skills:Full clean driving licence requiredProven knowledge and hands-on experience in pest control.Qualification in Pest Management (IPCA / Lantra Level 3 or equivalent).Strong communication - EnglishClear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce meaningful reports.Effective at managing time, prioritizing workload, and working as part of a team.Demonstrated experience in building strong client relationships and managing customer expectations.Ability to work independently and within a teamGood physical fitness for outdoor work and handling equipmentMust currently reside in Ireland.Working Conditions:Full-time position with flexible working hoursTravel to multiple client sites across the regionExposure to varying weather conditionsOpportunity for ongoing training and career developmentExperience in pest control is an advantage; full training providedStrong communication and organizational skillsAbility to work independently and within a teamGood physical fitness for outdoor work and handling equipmentWhat We OfferA competitive salary package with opportunities for additional pay (new business and overtime).Company vehicle, fuel card, mobile phone, uniforms, and equipment provided.4 weeks of annual leave.Bonus scheme (earn up to €2,000 per year).Career progression opportunities as the business continues to grow.Access to ongoing training and industry-recognised qualifications.Opportunities to shape your career within a company passionate about raising standards in the pest control industry.Cycle-to-Work Scheme.Job Type: Full-timePay: From €35,000.00 per yearBenefits:On-site parkingWork Location: On the road
