Finance Manager - |Permanent Location: Dublin airport There is hybrid working, max 2 days per week after 1 year service, but preference for this role is in the office Reports to: Managing Director / Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Position Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Finance Manager to join our team.
The ideal candidate will be an ACCA-qualified professional with a minimum of 5 years of management experience in finance and accounting.
The Finance Manager will be responsible for overseeing financial operations, managing a team, and contributing to strategic decision-making in the business.

Key Responsibilities Financial Management & Reporting: oPrepare, analyse, and present accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to senior management.
oOversee the preparation of statutory accounts and ensure compliance with local and international accounting standards (IFRS, FRS102).
oLead the annual budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
oPrepare cost centre budgets, distribute monthly, analyse and manage variances with key stakeholders.
oPerform financial analysis and provide actionable insights to support business decisions.
oCommercial contract input, review and alignment oCreate business pricing model to ensure profit margins achieved oManage, monitor and oversee the company payrolls, including software, systems, process, auditing and controls.
Team Leadership oManage and mentor the finance team, providing guidance, support, and development opportunities.
oOversee day-to-day financial operations, ensuring adherence to internal controls, accounting policies, and best practices.
oFoster a collaborative and high-performance environment within the finance team.
Cash Flow & Budget Management oMonitor and optimise cash flow, ensuring sufficient liquidity for operational and strategic initiatives.
oManage working capital and ensure accurate cash flow forecasting.
oWork closely with other departments to track and manage departmental budgets.
oCollaboration, input, review and monitoring of Operational KPIs from Planning Department.
Compliance & Risk Management oEnsure compliance with Irish tax laws, regulations, and relevant financial reporting standards.
oOversee the preparation and submission of VAT returns, corporation tax returns, and other regulatory filings.
oIdentify and mitigate financial risks, ensuring robust internal controls and audit procedures are in place.
oManage annual financial audits to ensure full compliance with required standards.
Strategic Contribution oPartner with senior management to drive business strategy, identifying financial opportunities and risks.
oParticipate in key projects, such as system implementations, process improvements, and mergers/acquisitions.
oProvide financial expertise and advice to senior leadership on key initiatives.
Required Qualifications & Experience ACCA Qualification (or equivalent) is a must.
A minimum of 5 years management experience in a finance or accounting role, ideally within a corporate or multi-national environment.
Strong knowledge of Irish accounting standards, tax laws, and regulatory requirements.
Proven ability to lead and develop finance teams.
Experience with financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, and cash flow management.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAGE, SAP, Oracle, or similar) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel in particular).
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organisational skills.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex financial data to non-financial stakeholders.
