Responsibilities
* Design complex software features to support innovative hardware products.
* Work with a design system and guidelines.
* Apply extensive experience to lead software design, setting the right objectives, approaches, and methods.
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams of designers, engineers, and product managers.
* Communicate design proposals confidently and effectively.
* Make strategic recommendations and guide decision-makers through the process.
* Work within a global team, with flexibility for meetings across time zones.
* Have the opportunity for international travel.
Key Qualifications
* Experience solving tough interaction problems and structuring large, complex applications.
* Expert understanding of software and hardware constraints.
* Deep expertise in desktop software design and collaboration with software engineers, firmware engineers, and product managers.
* Proactive and effective communication across multiple levels within design and with stakeholders.
* Previous experience at a senior designer level or above within an agency or organization.
* Ability to balance multiple perspectives in your designs.
* Excellent verbal/written communication and storytelling skills to articulate design concepts.
* Knowledge of development tools, technologies, and processes; fluency in Adobe Creative Suite and Figma.
* Awareness of current and future technology developments and how they can enhance user design.
* Comfort working in a self-directed culture and navigating ambiguity.
* A portfolio demonstrating the above.
