Warehouse AssociateReports to: SupervisorJob responsibilitiesDemonstrate a high level of accuracy and attention to shortages, damage and customer instructions. To ensure all discrepancies are reported clearly in a timely mannerEnsure all delivery documents are endorsed correctly before the driver leaves site. Recording accurately and clearly any shortages, discrepancies or further work required by us to accept the load, ie broken pallets that need to be replaced/slaved, damages needing to be separated or manual handled, extra pallet wrap required to secure the pallet etc.Ensure the driver and stock office receive the same copies of the endorsements in order to challenge the customer or supplierAccurately record the intake temperature of all loads, ensuring all documentation (as per above) is endorsed correctly before the driver leaves site.Transfer pallets from loading bays to relevant room via WMS using handheld scannersOperate MHE in line with training and Health and SafetyCarry out all other warehouse Associate duties as instructed by the management teamEnsure the "checking in" process is carried out in line with the associated SSOW/SOPPick customer orders using pick sheetsPack customer orders into appropriate boxes and building on palletsWrap and move completed pallets to relevant storage area, including pallet card as applicableAdhere to the Company HACCP Plan and food safety arrangements at all timesWork in a safe manner and adhere to all Company Health and Safety policies and procedures, including wearing protective equipmentFlexibility to work within any of the areas in the warehouseFollow instruction from the area supervisor and managerComplete all training as identified by the companyJob requirements (Education, experience, skills, knowledge)Self-motivated with the ability to work both on own initiative and as part of a teamEnthusiastic and proactive approach towards workThrive in an active and fast paced work environmentFlexible as occasional out of hours work may be requiredEffective communication and organisational skillsAbility to work in a fast moving high pressured environmentAbility to manage workloads effectivelyBasic knowledge of WMS, or the aptitude to learnPlease send your CV to
