Head of Finance | High-Growth AI SaaS | Series A Journey
I’m partnering with a fast-growing, VC-backed AI business to appoint a Head of Finance at a really pivotal stage in their growth.
This is a high-impact role, working directly with the Founders and leadership team — with full ownership of the finance function and a critical role in delivering their upcoming Series A. This is build, scale, and deliver — in a fast-paced environment.

The Opportunity
You’ll step in as the most senior finance leader in the business, taking ownership of everything from day-to-day finance operations through to strategic planning and investor engagement.
You’ll play a central role in:
Leading the financial strategy and supporting key commercial decisions
Owning the financial model, budgeting, forecasting and growth planning
Driving the Series A fundraising process (modelling, due diligence, investor engagement)
Managing cashflow, runway and burn in a scaling environment
Delivering board-level reporting and insights
Embedding structure, controls and scalable finance processes
This is a hands‑on leadership role — ideal for someone who enjoys operating at both strategic and operational levels.
Experience Required
Qualified Accountant (ACA / ACCA or equivalent)
Proven experience in a senior finance role within a SaaS / high‑growth start‑up essential
Strong track record supporting or leading Series A fundraising
Deep understanding of SaaS metrics (ARR, MRR, churn, CAC, LTV)
Experience working closely with founders, investors and boards
Comfortable operating in a fast‑moving, evolving scale‑up
