Job Title: Site Management Professional
About the Role:
As a senior member of our project management team, you will play a crucial role in influencing onsite safety culture. This involves demonstrating commitment to safety standards, setting expectations, and communicating policies effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the health & safety department to ensure safe construction practices and adherence to safety standards.
- Provide technical advice related to projects.
- Ensure materials and work meet specifications and quality standards.
- Review and critique detailed designs, communicating with designers to ensure constructability.
- Interpret drawings and layouts accurately.
- Assign and oversee tasks of Junior Engineers.
- Manage the selection and requisition of materials and plant.
- Monitor and interpret contract design documents.
- Coordinate with the project team for planning and sequencing site activities.
- Liaise with clients, design teams, and authorities as needed.
Requirements:
- 3rd level qualification in an engineering-related discipline
- 5+ years of experience with a main contractor
