Job Title: Project Coordinator Specialist
The Role
We are seeking a skilled and organized Project Coordinator Specialist to manage projects from tender stage through to client handover.
This role is ideal for someone who is proactive, resourceful, and thrives in a dynamic environment.
You will oversee all phases of the project life cycle, ensuring timely, cost-effective, and high-quality execution.
This is a hands-on role requiring flexibility and the ability to work across multiple functions, including procurement, logistics, and construction.
* Manage all phases of the project life cycle, from contract award through planning, procurement, construction, commissioning, and handover, ensuring seamless execution and completion.
* Serve as the central point of contact and coordinator for customers, suppliers, and subcontractors, while liaising effectively with internal procurement and engineering teams.
* Manage and process contracts diligently, encompassing changes, claims, and ensuring compliance with contract terms to safeguard project integrity.
* Direct management of external partners to ensure timely delivery of components and services, aligning with project objectives.
* Oversee and ensure adherence to project timelines, budgets, and quality standards, with close monitoring of costs and cash flows to maintain financial health.
Requirements
A degree in engineering, Quantity Surveyor, construction management, or a related field is required for this role, emphasizing specialized expertise and project leading potential.
At least three years of professional experience in project coordination for large infrastructure initiatives are necessary, with a preference for work in renewable energy sectors such as solar PV, BEES, or wind energy.
Familiar with contract management and project management frameworks such as PMBOK, PRINCE2, and Agile, supporting effective planning and delivery of projects.
Experience engaging stakeholders using friendly, clear communication and negotiation to achieve positive outcomes.
Proficiency in using project management tools (like MS Project, Asana, or Primavera) along with common MS Office applications.
Demonstrates exceptional problem-solving skills, combining a flexible and structured approach with strong self-motivation, well-suited to a dynamic start-up environment.
