Our clients, a well-established practice with offices in Tralee and Killarney are presently recruiting a Tax Manager. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing a diverse portfolio of clients, delivering high-quality tax compliance and advisory services, and supporting the continued success of our firm. This is a permanent position, offering a hybrid working week.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare and review income tax, corporation tax, and VAT returns for a wide range of clients.Manage personal and corporate tax compliance deadlines efficiently.Provide tax planning and advisory services to individuals, partnerships, and companies.Liaise with Revenue on behalf of clients, managing queries and correspondence.Assist in preparing financial statements and management accounts when required.Keep up to date with Irish tax legislation and Revenue developments.Contribute to process improvement and ensure best practice in tax compliance.Support junior staff through training and mentoring.Work collaboratively across both the Tralee and Killarney offices as needed.RequirementsQualified or part-qualified Accountant (ACA / ACCA / CPA) and/or AITI Chartered Tax Adviser (CTA).Minimum of 2–3 years’ experience in practice, with a strong focus on tax.In-depth knowledge of Irish tax legislation and compliance processes with strong Proficiency in tax software.Salary is open to negotiation based on experiences.
