Staff Nurse - Cardiology Private Hospital North Dublin We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Staff Nurse - Cardiology to join our clients dynamic multidisciplinary team. Key Responsibilities Deliver high standards of nursing care to cardiology patients from admission through to discharge. Assess, plan, implement and evaluate individualised patient care plans. Monitor and respond appropriately to changing patient conditions and emergency situations. Administer medications and IV therapies in accordance with hospital policies and NMBI guidelines. Maintain accurate and confidential patient documentation using approved systems and procedures. Communicate effectively with patients, families and the multidisciplinary team using the approved ISBAR handover process. Support and mentor student nurses, newly qualified nurses and healthcare assistants. Participate in quality improvement initiatives, accreditation processes and ongoing professional development. Deputise for the Clinical Nurse Manager when required. The Ideal Candidate Will Have Registration as a General Nurse on the live register of the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI). Minimum 1 year post-registration acute nursing experience. Previous cardiology experience desirable. Experience working within a multidisciplinary healthcare environment. Strong clinical, communication and interpersonal skills. Excellent organisational and decision-making abilities. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification essential.
