About the CompanyWe are seeking an experienced and organised Legal Secretary to join a busy legal practice in Carlow.About the RoleThe successful candidate will provide comprehensive administrative and secretarial support to solicitors, ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the office while maintaining high standards of accuracy, confidentiality, and client care.ResponsibilitiesProviding full secretarial support to solicitorsAudio and copy typing of legal documents and correspondencePreparing briefs, pleadings, contracts, and court documentationManaging diaries, appointments, and court datesHandling client queries professionally, both in person and by phoneOpening, closing, and maintaining client filesManaging filing systems (electronic and manual)Assisting with billing, invoicing, and time recordingLiaising with courts, counsel, and external parties as requiredEnsuring compliance with confidentiality and data protection requirementsQualifications2–3 years' experience in a legal secretarial roleRequired SkillsStrong typing and document production skillsExcellent organisational and time-management abilitiesHigh level of attention to detail and accuracyProfessional telephone manner and strong communication skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamProficiency in MS Word, Outlook, and legal case management systems70 wpmPreferred SkillsKnowledge of Irish legal procedures and documentation (desirable)Pay range and compensation packageSalary €35,000 per annum (DOE)
