Job Title: Senior Technical Sourcing Specialist
We are seeking an experienced Senior Technical Sourcing Specialist to lead the reduction of overall supply risk and drive the adoption of capable technologies & sources in New Product Development resulting in predictable supply & competitiveness through full product launch.
About The Role:
This role involves strategic engagement with New Product Development, Global Supply Management, Operations, and Suppliers. You will be responsible for leading and driving supplier identification, evaluation, selection, development, qualification, and product launch ramp-up in line with Category and Product Development Strategies and preferred supplier segmentation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate, develop, qualify, and manage supplier projects for new product development programs.
- Oversee and manage the supplier aspects of projects and serve as liaison between Ops Core Team Member, project management, and project team.
- Develop mechanisms for monitoring project progress and develop resolutions to meet schedule, budget, cost, productivity, quality, and functionality goals and objectives.
- Communicate with stakeholders and obtain stakeholder engagement to ensure suppliers and components meet business needs.
- Support Launch Readiness and Transfer to Operations.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Bachelor's Level 8 degree required. Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience. Technical acumen in medical device technology essential Experience with the development of Material or component replacement efforts. Program Management experience in the development of medical devices Extensive Relevant experience in Project management and supplier-related negotiation skills. Proficient experience in the management of suppliers and supply chain. Dynamic team player who can work effectively and proactively in a global team. Proven communication, leadership, and interpersonal and team-building skills. High level of enthusiasm and motivation, and the ability to take input from the program and functional teams. Proficient business acumen and the ability to influence program objectives in a matrix organization.
