Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Relief Support Worker to join our team. This role involves providing essential support to individuals with learning disabilities, acquired brain injuries, and autism, helping them live fulfilling and independent lives.
As a Relief Support Worker, you will be at the heart of our mission, making a real impact in the lives of those we support.
Key Responsibilities:
* Providing Person Centred Support
* Supporting individuals to be safe and healthy
* Supporting independence, social and communication skills
* Coching and mentoring of staff and volunteers
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* At least 1 year's experience of working with people with a learning disability or autism
* Experience in managing behaviours of concern through the implementation of Positive Behaviour Support
* A full, valid driving licence or an ability to travel independently to meet the requirements of the post
* Registration on the Northern Ireland Social Care Council (NISCC) or other relevant professional body
