ResponsibilitiesDeliver: Provide high-quality civil engineering support and services to all project stages (feasibility through to Detailed Design and Construction) for a range of clients.Oversee: Own tasks for each project stage, collaborate with design team members, mentor entry-level engineers, and coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams to deliver designs on time and within budget.Provide Expertise: Apply technical knowledge across multi-disciplinary projects, with emphasis on drainage design from conceptual phases to implementation.Ensure Quality: Adhere to QA/QC procedures, identify risks early, and work with clients to overcome challenges regarding programme and budget.Collaborate: Work with internal and external multi-disciplinary engineers and stakeholders to deliver integrated designs and build strong relationships.
QualificationsBachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.Chartered or working towards Chartered status with IEI, ICE, or relevant institution.Experience in design and delivery of civil infrastructure from inception to handover, including SUDs, water main distribution pipelines, storm and foul networks, surface water analysis, flood risk assessments, highway and pavement design, earthworks modelling, and familiarity with DMRB and DMURS.Experience using Microdrainage or InfoDrainage, AutoCAD, and Civil 3D.Experience working in a multidisciplinary design team and liaising with architects, planning consultants, and external consultants.Experience undertaking site inspections, test witnessing, reporting, and handling technical RFIs during construction.
