We currently have an opening for an Artic Driver to join our team, based in Mountrath, Co.
Laois, with nationwide deliveries throughout Ireland.
Responsibilities:
Delivering and collecting timber pallets and other timber products throughout Ireland
Ensuring all loads are transported in a safe and secure manner
Completing daily walkarounds and ensuring the optimum upkeep of the assigned vehicle
Ensuring all paperwork is thoroughly completed, up-to-date and returned in a timely manner
Ensuring tachograph records are up-to-date, compliant and available for inspection
Reporting any issues with the truck or trailers to the Mechanics Team
Reporting any delays or issues with deliveries to the Transport Planners and assisting in a timely manner
Assisting with any RSA inspections
Working alongside the Logistics Team to ensure the smooth and consistent running of the fleet
Abiding and enforcing all health and safety protocols at CJS and customer's locations
Assisting with and promoting a continuous improvement culture with a strong commitment to quality customer service
Attending and contributing to regular meetings as required
Other ad hoc duties as assigned
