Excel Healthcare Recruitmentare delighted to be recruiting aRegional Training Manageron behalf of our client, a leading provider of nursing home care with a strong focus on quality, compliance, and continuous learning.Role:Regional Training ManagerLocation:On-site – based in one of the Nursing Homes or Head OfficeContract:Full time | PermanentAbout the RoleThe Regional Training Manager will work alongside an existing Training Manager to deliver mandatory and regulatory training across26 nursing homes nationwide. Site allocation will be agreed based on experience and competencies.This is ahands-on, delivery-focused role, with the majority of time anticipated to be spent facilitating training on-site, supported by administration and governance responsibilities.Reporting to theHead of Learning & Development, the Regional Training Manager will work closely with Directors of Nursing, Persons in Charge, Regional Directors, and the Training Co-Ordinator to ensure staff are confident, compliant, and inspection-ready.Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver and coordinate mandatory and regulatory training across multiple nursing homesLead and maintain a standardised induction programme for new staffSupport DONs and PICs with training compliance and HIQA inspection readinessMaintain accurate training records, matrices, and calendars (Timepoint)Conduct training audits and on-site compliance reviewsDevelop and coordinate Train-the-Trainer programmesCreate engaging training materials and microlearning contentIdentify skills gaps and continuously improve training programmesRequirementsClinical or healthcare education background (nursing desirable, not essential)3–5 years' experience in healthcare training, education, or a similar roleStrong knowledge of HIQA standards and residential care regulationsExperience delivering training to multidisciplinary teamsQQI Level 6 Manual Handling Instructor qualificationIHF-recognised Basic Life Support (BLS) Instructor qualificationExcellent facilitation, organisation, and communication skillsStrong digital skills (Teams, Excel, PowerPoint, eLearning platforms)Why Join?Opportunity to shape and improve training programmes across a large care groupValues-driven organisation with a strong commitment to learning and quality improvementHigh-impact role where your work directly supports safe, effective resident careSupportive leadership and openness to new ideasIf you have the experience and passion to deliver high-quality healthcare training and would like to learn more about thisRegionalTraining Managerrole, please apply below toBarbara Kellyin complete confidence or call .
