Junior Business Analyst - Ireland, Dublin - 6 Months Initial Contract

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Junior Business Analyst to work on an exciting CapEx project in Dublin on an initial 6-month contract. The Junior Business Analyst will play a key role in the successful delivery of a new state-of-the-art facility.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
1. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Digital, Operations, Engineering, Manufacturing) to gather and translate business requirements into AI/automation use cases.
2. Analyse manufacturing workflows and identify opportunities for GenAI and agentic automation to improve yield, reduce cycle time, and minimise deviations.
3. Support the deployment of AI agents to enable real-time decision-making and predictive insights.
4. Partner with data scientists and engineers to validate AI models using historical batch data, quality investigations, and execution system inputs.
5. Facilitate workshops and training sessions for end-users on new digital tools and AI-driven workflows.
6. Monitor solution performance and user adoption, and recommend continuous improvements based on data insights and user feedback.
7. Translate SOPs and tacit knowledge into structured, step-by-step digital workflows using low-code/no-code platforms.
8. Perform and participate in business and functional requirements gathering for data-analytics model builds or enhancements.
9. Translate analytics business needs into clear user stories in JIRA.
10. Facilitate bi-weekly demos, conduct UAT meetings, and support deployment and QA activities.
11. Maintain service level agreements and ensure alignment between Agile teams and business stakeholders.
12. Track and report on value realization metrics such as batch loss reduction, incident avoidance, and compliance improvements, contributing to cost avoidance targets.
Desirable Experience:
1. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Life Sciences, or related field.
2. Extensive experience in manufacturing or operations within a regulated industry (pharma/biotech preferred).
3. Understanding of GMP, GxP, and regulatory compliance frameworks.
4. Experience with digital manufacturing and automation systems (MES, LIMS, SAP, eQMS, PDOCS, PLA, Moda, AMPS) and data integration.
5. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
6. Experience working in Agile product development environments, especially in MVP scoping and iterative delivery.
