Assistant Quality Systems Manager

We are seeking a detail oriented and proactive Assistant Quality Systems Manager to join our team. This is a key role within our Quality function, supporting the maintenance, development, and continuous improvement of our Food Safety & Quality Management Systems.
The successful candidate will work closely with cross functional teams to ensure compliance with regulatory standards, customer requirements, and internal policies - helping us deliver safe, high quality products every time.
What You'll Do
Support HACCP, VACCP & TACCP activities and food safety risk assessments.
Assist with regulatory, third party and customer audits, ensuring full audit readiness.
Manage CAPA processes to ensure timely and effective close out of actions.
Participate in Supplier Approval and ongoing supplier evaluations.
Conduct internal audits as part of the Internal Auditing Team.
Support pest management and ensure compliance with prevention programmes.
Monitor processing standards, including GMP, cleaning effectiveness, and quality control checks.
Maintain and update document control for the Food Safety Management System.
Review SOPs, policies, procedures, and records to ensure they are current and correctly implemented.
About You
Experience in Quality, Technical, or Food Safety within a food or manufacturing environment.
Strong knowledge of food safety systems and regulatory requirements.
HACCP training or internal auditing experience (desirable).
Excellent organisational skills and strong attention to detail.
Confident communicator with the ability to work cross functionally.
A proactive, problem solving approach with a focus on continuous improvement.
