About BOI Payment Acceptance
BOI Payment Acceptance (BOIPA) is an alliance between the Bank of Ireland and EVO Payments International, offering card payment solutions for both physical and online merchants.
Role Purpose
Reporting to the Head of Corporate Sales, the successful candidate will carry responsibility for delivery of corporate sales and will develop and implement new business strategies through sourcing, negotiating, and closing new corporate opportunities in line with company objectives. The Corporate Sales manager will manage existing corporate clients, deliver agreed sales targets and KPIs, and operate within the Irish Business Market.
Achieve set targets in respect of new signings and revenue as determined by the company.
Identify, develop, and close new sales through sustained prospecting and activity.
Interface, support, and stimulate high‑value sales leads and core proposition sales across partner sites in the region.
Develop and maintain strategic relationships with key Bank of Ireland corporate stakeholders.
Develop strategic corporate partner relationships, group deals, and trade association deals through proactive sourcing of opportunities.
Maximise performance & achieve company KPIs through strong commercial acumen.
Create and write client proposals and deliver client presentations in partnership with senior sales and delivery resources.
Maintain a high level of understanding of business trends and issues facing the market sector.
Follow clear strategies and methodologies from prospecting to proposal to closure.
Interface with internal departments (e.g., Project Management Office, Operations) to develop and implement required client solutions.
Operate within published commercial and contractual guidelines, making effective use of escalation routes.
Comply with the sales charter, company policies, and procedures.
Establish a clear target list based on strategy, target sectors, and product advancement agreed with management.
Be proactive and innovative in prospecting and forming key relationships through existing contacts, seminars, customer surveys, new product launches, structured corporate entertainment, and press profiling.
Engage with the Sales Team to gain specific support for identified opportunities.
Ensure all necessary advance due diligence is completed timely and comprehensively, using a structured due diligence process covering pre‑tender requirements.
Prioritise and create urgency around the most important deals in the pipeline.
Knowledge And Experience
Possess a business‑related qualification.
Previous success in a Corporate Development role.
Exceptional track record in identifying, prospecting, and closing new business opportunities.
Excellence in influencing at all levels of an organisation.
Experience achieving success against challenging targets with complex sales cycles and product requirements.
Demonstrable success driving performance and delivering consistent growth to meet and exceed targets.
Experience operating effectively within a wider Corporate Sales Team, using all available resources in a timely manner.
