Our client, a leading Multinational Semiconductor EDA Software Company, requires a Lead RF/Microwave Design Engineer for a role based in Cork City, Ireland.
You will be required to be onsite 4 days per week.
Role
As Lead RF/Microwave Design Engineer, you will have experience using Microwave Office software or other high-frequency electronic design automation (EDA) software tools and be interested in software development and validation.
Responsibilities
Work closely with research and development on new feature development.
Develop automated testing infrastructure.
Provide technical assistance and training on the use of the AWR Design Environment software products.
Assist in the implementation of AWR software into the customers' design methodologies.
Support technical evaluations as well as benchmarks.
Verify that software enhancements adequately address their target problems.
Education
MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering
Experience
Experience with Python programming language.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Additional Skills/Preferences
Proficiency in a Linux environment
Experience with Cadence Virtuoso or Allegro would be highly desirable.
Experience with EM Simulation software.
Experience with automated software testing.
