About Your New Job
As a Technical Services Manager, you will oversee the technical operations of a key facility management contract, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. You will lead an on-site technical team and subcontractors, maintaining compliance, efficiency, and service excellence. Your role will also involve budget management, stakeholder engagement, and driving continuous improvement in operations and maintenance.
Key Responsibilities:
* Ensure compliance with Health & Safety policies and legislative requirements.
* Oversee planned, reactive, and preventative maintenance across the portfolio.
* Manage supplier relationships, ensuring service delivery meets SLAs.
* Lead, develop, and support the on-site technical team.
* Provide financial oversight, ensuring operations remain within budget.
* Utilize CMMS (Maximo) for asset management, data analysis, and reporting.
* Support project teams on refurbishments, fit-outs, and renovations.
What Skills You Need
* A relevant qualification in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
* Health & Safety certification (NEBOSH/IOSH).
* Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
* Experience managing technical teams within a facilities management environment.
* Proficiency in CMMS (Maximo) and other maintenance systems.
* Ability to manage budgets and supplier contracts effectively.
