Project Manager - Construction Site
The role of the Civil Site Manager encompasses overseeing the construction process and ensuring that health and safety standards are met.
* It is essential to familiarise oneself with the design documentation, project programme and construction methodologies for the assigned project.
* The ability to set persons to work, manage and coordinate activities effectively is crucial.
* Closely monitoring plant equipment ensures they remain fit for purpose and are inspected as required.
Requirements
* A valid IOSH Safety, Health and Environment for Construction Site Managers (SHE) certification is mandatory.
* No less than 5 years' experience working in a multi-discipline site-based project environment, preferably within the civils sector.
* Additionally, at least 5 years of construction experience, preferably in a trades or supervision role.
Ultimately, the Civil Site Manager will be responsible for coordinating team members and facilitating the smooth execution of projects.
