Finance ManagerProperty Investment & ManagementPosition Description12-month, Fixed-term maternity cover contract with an institutionally backed residential property investment company. Even through just a one-year contract, this role presents an opportunity to springboard a career gaining exposure to a very senior and talented executive management team and gaining significant exposure to financial management within the property sector, taking on meaningful responsibility across reporting and financial operations and playing a key role in investor reporting. A hands-on, high-impact role, reporting to the MD, involving:Oversight of financial operations of a property and asset management portfolioMonthly and quarterly reporting cycles - quarterly management and KPI reporting, monthly reporting pack preparationCoordinating annual budgets, insurance renewals, external audits and property valuationsCash flow management and forecasting, budgeting, with variance analysisLoan administrationReviewing AP and approving weekly tenant deposit returnsInvestor reportingAudit, financial statement and statutory reportingMaintaining and enhancing internal controls, reporting frameworks and improving financial processesStakeholder management - internal management and external stakeholders (to include equity and debt funders).Supporting the MD in fundraising activities and ongoing management of equity and debt relationshipsCandidate BackgroundIdeal candidate will have the following background:Qualified Accountant, with min. 3 years' relevant PQEStrong academic track recordStrong technical accounting and financial reporting expertiseExperience in real estate, property finance or asset management an advantageAdvanced Excel and financial analysis skillsExcellent communication skillsHighly organised, detail-oriented and comfortable managing multiple reporting cyclesProven ability to manage team membersAbout Our ClientOur client is an institutionally backed residential property investment company with HQ in the heart of the City Centre.RemunerationHighly competitive salary and bonus, parking also available.
