Job Description
The Operations Specialist plays a critical role in monitoring the IT infrastructure, systems, and applications to ensure prompt issue resolution.
Responsibilities include:
* Monitoring IT infrastructure, systems, and applications
* Alerting support teams to resolve issues quickly and efficiently
* Assisting in daily processing
* Working with automated scheduling software
This role involves working Sunday to Thursday, 4pm – 12am, with a split schedule between office and home workdays.
Requirements
* Degree in Computing with minimum 2 years experience
* Incident escalation experience using industry software
* Customer focused team player with excellent communication skills
* Potential and ambition to excel in IT with enthusiasm for technology and learning
* Excellent professionalism, reliability, and punctuality
Additional Skills
* Experience/knowledge of Unix OS
* Experience/knowledge of simple scripting
* Experience of infrastructure monitoring tools
* Experience of enterprise scheduling software
* Hardware/software certification
* Experience in financial services industry (desirable)
