Job Description: Our client is expanding its Environmental Team and is seeking an experienced Senior Hydrogeologist/Hydrologist and/or Principal Hydrogeologist/Hydrologist.
The successful candidate will join our dynamic team in Dublin, working on challenging projects in the private and public sectors.
The Dublin team includes environmental consultants, geologists, hydrogeologists, chemists, acoustic engineers, and environmental scientists.
The candidate will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to scope and deliver projects aligned with client needs.
Strong people skills, motivation, and teamwork are essential.
A mix of technical, communication, and field skills is desired to contribute to various projects.
Remote work within the EU may be considered for the right candidate, but regular travel to Ireland is required.
Responsibilities Technical report writing.
Leading and managing junior team members and sub-consultants to meet project goals.
Communicating with clients, stakeholders, regulatory bodies, and subcontractors to ensure compliance.
Assisting in project and program management for large and complex projects, including post-approval activities.
Preparing proposals to meet client needs.
Requirements: MSc in Environmental Science/Engineering, Hydrogeology, or related fields.
At least 5 years of experience in the environmental sector.
Self-motivated, organized, and proactive.
Excellent report writing and communication skills.
Ability to analyze complex data and produce clear outputs.
Ability to meet tight deadlines and internal reporting standards.
Strong interpersonal skills; capable of working independently and in a team.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Preferred: Over 5 years of experience.
Full clean driving license or working towards one.
Membership or chartership with recognized environmental bodies (e.g., IEMA, IGI, IAH, CIWEM).
Experience with EIA chapters, EPA licensing, contaminated land assessment, risk assessment, and remediation.
