Job Description:
As a Manager of Analytical Sciences, you will play a key role in our team at Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc. Your primary responsibilities will include providing technical support to analysts, developing and optimizing analytical methods, transferring technology across departments, testing activities, maintaining laboratory compliance, and representing the department in cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide Technical Support: Assist analysts in resolving operational, technical, and analytical issues within the AD laboratory.
* Method Development and Validation: Lead the development and optimization of analytical methods, and complete method validation in line with current regulatory expectations.
* Technology Transfer: Participate in cross-functional meetings, acquire method/equipment requirements, and facilitate procurement and installation of new equipment.
* Testing Activities: Liaise with customers and internal teams to schedule work that meets customer objectives.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Advanced degree in a relevant scientific field.
* Proven track record in a similar role within the pharmaceutical or biotechnological industries.
* Strong understanding of GMP requirements, method validation, and technology transfer processes.
* Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
