Job description:
Sherpa Kids provides Before School Care, After school and Holiday Childcare to children in the areas of Co.Cork during term time and non-term time (school holidays).
* Start Date: September to allow for adequate training, reference checks and garda vetting before the school term commences.
* Job Types: Permanent Part-time Floater
* Locations: Ballinspittle
* Hours: Monday to Friday 1:30-5:30pm- Possible extra hours can be given
Assistant Duties:
* Supervise children during activities and free play
* Assist with homework and educational tasks
* Engaging in a variety of planned activities (both indoor and outdoor) with the children each day.
* Lots of energy and enthusiasm to work with children.
* Assist with games, crafts, and group activities
* Ensure a safe, clean, and inclusive environment
Requirements:
* Experience working with School Aged children (Minimum 1 Year)
* Proficiency in English, both verbal and written
* Garda vetting is essential (completed by us after interview stage).
* Work Permit/ VISA essential (for more than 20 hours a week)
* At least 2 written references checks are required before starting.
* Own Car (required)
