A prominent Irish civil engineering contractor, recognised for delivering large-scale projects across the country, is currently seeking a Site Engineer for an upcoming project in Cork City. With over 60 years in operation, this Tier 1 contractor has built a strong reputation for delivering complex civil projects on time, on budget, and to the highest standards. Key Responsibilities: Assist in managing civil works on site, including setting out, surveying, and overseeing subcontractor activity. Work closely with the Site Manager and Project Manager to ensure smooth day-to-day site operations. Monitor quality control, site safety, and compliance with project specifications. Coordinate with design teams, consultants, and suppliers to resolve technical issues. Keep accurate site records, progress reports, and assist with project planning. Support junior engineers and site staff where required. Requirements: Degree-qualified in Civil Engineering or a related discipline. Minimum 34 years' experience working with a civil or infrastructure contractor. Strong knowledge of setting out, groundworks, and general civils methodology. Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills. Full, clean drivers licence is essential.
