Job Description
To support the Irish Wheelchair Association in the provision of day centre services and outings with members who have physical and/or sensory disabilities. This is a developmental opportunity, no experience necessary. Accredited training will be provided to support your career.
Duties
Encourage members to be actively involved in programmes within the service such as Boccia, bowling, music, yoga etc.
Drive/escort members to and from the centre on the bus.
Assist with personal care when required.
Assist with meals and light refreshments.
General cleaning duties.
Opportunity and support to obtain QQI qualifications.
Qualifications
Applicants must supply suitable character references and be prepared to complete a Garda vetting application form.
