Senior Administrator Bid Coordinator Our client in North Wicklow is seeking a Senior Administrator Bid Coordinator to join their team on a full-time permanent basis. This role will involve providing administrative support to various teams as well as assisting with tendering processes. For You: Full-time permanent role, fully onsite. 45k DOE. Based in North Wicklow, with parking. Join a well-known and established organisation. Key Responsibilities: Assist the Chartered Quantity Surveyor, company Directors, and Engineering team with a range of tasks. Ensure the smooth running of daily office operations by managing phone calls, emails, filing systems, and general administrative duties. Help coordinate bid submissions, including maintaining and updating tender documents in collaboration with the team. Support the Quantity Surveying team throughout the tender process by compiling documents and meeting submission deadlines. Prepare and issue detailed quotations, invoices, and account statements using the companys financial software. Perform document control duties such as creating document packages, assembling materials for the Site Team, and liaising with main contractors. Keep health and safety records organized and up to date in compliance with company policies. Collaborate with the finance department as needed and carry out additional tasks or responsibilities as assigned by the company from time to time. Key Requirements: Previous experience in a similar administrative or coordination role within the construction or engineering sector; exposure to public sector bidding or tender preparation is preferred. Familiarity with preparing and submitting government tenders. Professional communication skills and a courteous telephone manner for client and team interactions. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word and Excel; ECDL certification is a plus. Quick to learn new systems and processes; demonstrates initiative and a solutions-oriented approach. Eagerness to develop knowledge of the construction industry. Experience with Evolution MX accounting software is beneficial but not essential.
