OverviewThe Supply Network planner role sits in the heart of the Supply Chain Hub within PepsiCo Cork. The planner will partner with our suppliers and freight forwarders to ensure timely delivery of materials to the manufacturing plants. The materials planner will execute against the MRP signal to purchase raw materials and ensure readiness for our customer orders.ResponsibilitiesDetailed and accurate response to MRP signals:Analysis of purchase requisitions and conversion to raw material Purchase ordersResponding to exception messaging i.e. expedites / postponementsScheduling Material deliveriesCreation and Maintenance of schedule agreements and compliance to Quota arrangements (split of volume between suppliers)Partnering with internal stakeholders to ensure readiness of materials for customer ordersWork with suppliers to ensure efficient delivery of materials:Accuracy of Supplier Shipping / Order documentationCo-ordinate deliveries with inbound carriers and warehousingMonitoring supplier quality and delivery performance, raise Non Conformance Reports to ensure resolution of issuesAchieve the agreed Working Capital targets for Direct Materials:Accuracy and maintenance of Safety Stock and Order Policy settingsMeet key inventory and material planning KPIsProactive management of Material Reserve risksOpen order book and inventory management - end of period, quarter, yearExecution of weekly controls through dashboard reportingAdhere to all PepsiCo Health and Safety requirements.QualificationsExperience with SAP and MRP systems for procurement is essentialStrong supply chain experience in a dynamic multinational organization with experience in Purchasing/Material planningProficient computer skills, specifically in MS Office and MS ExcelExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and writtenAbility to work effectively in a team environmentAbility to manage multiple, complex tasks, with strong attention to detailResults oriented and committed to achieving objectives; ability to work on own initiativeExcellent customer awareness and customer focusThird level qualification in Supply Chain or related disciplineStrong analytical skills with a proven ability to problem-solve and make quick decisionsFor the purposes of external advertising we have called this role Supply Network Planner.
