Transaction Manager Job Description
The Role:
Head of Finance and Stakeholder Liaison
This position will work closely with multiple stakeholders, reporting directly to the Head of Finance. Key responsibilities include:
* Leading a team of transaction specialists in their role by providing guidance, advice, and coaching.
* Managing transactions from start to finish, ensuring compliance with finance regulations and standards.
* Reviewing and managing LOI, Lease, and SPA documents for accounting and tax purposes.
* Liaising with Security Trustee and Capital Markets Team to ensure timely cash availability.
* Performing day 1 accounting assessments and setting up accounting systems.
* Preparing handover documents and scheduling meetings with operational finance teams.
* Coordinating data tape management and ensuring data is maintained at optimal levels.
* Managing statutory audits, including Interim and Final audits.
* Ensuring auditors adhere to timelines for work and financial statement comments.
* Managing Irish and foreign tax compliance processes annually.
* Overseeing third-party provision of regulatory reporting services.
* Reviewing and managing monthly external debt reporting processes.

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should possess:
* A qualified Chartered Accountant certification with experience in industry or practice.
* At least 4+ years PQE, preferably in an aircraft leasing-related role.
* Experience in managing small teams.
* Excellent project management skills.
* Ability to communicate effectively, writing clear and concise reports on technical accounting matters.
* A proactive attitude and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to work independently as required.
* Team player skills.
* Willingness to travel if necessary.
* Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
