Professional Indemnity Gallagher Ireland is part of the Arthur J Gallagher Group, one of the largest insurance brokerages in the world. Due to ongoing growth and expansion, we are seeking to add a Senior Client Account Handler (Professional Indemnity) to our team. The successful candidate can be based in any of our office locations in Ireland. This is a full-time, permanent role.

How you'll make an impact
* Manage client/prospect relationships and grow your portfolio/existing accounts, providing appropriate professional insurance advice and risk management solutions.
* Negotiate with insurers to obtain the best coverage and terms for clients that meet their requirements.
* Handle your workload effectively to service client relationships and complete placements within designated timeframes.
* Keep client information up to date.
* Build strong working relationships, collaborate with other Gallagher teams, and always treat others fairly and respectfully.
* Manage renewal lists within required timelines, adhering to policies and procedures.
* Obtain renewal information from clients for review and re-broking.
* Prepare submissions to markets as needed.
* Issue client renewal terms and all supporting policy documents, including debiting premiums.
* Validate insurer’s policy documentation for accuracy and ensure timely issuance of all policy documents in both hard and soft copies.
* Disclose issues promptly in line with compliance and legislative requirements, adhering to relevant codes such as CPC, AML/TF, F&P, etc.
* Deliver the highest level of client service to maximize retention.
* Advise customers on policy wording implications, including conditions and exclusions.
About you
* Prior experience in an Account Handler or Advisor role within a brokerage or insurance environment.
* This role requires a Certified Insurance Practitioner (CIP) qualification, with a goal to work towards an MDI qualification.
* Extensive knowledge of Professional Indemnity, Cyber, and Management Liability market products.
* Strong understanding of the client market and insurance industry network.
