Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our dynamic Commercial team as a Project Coordinator. In this role, you will take ownership of cost management, project administration, and financial controls across multiple large-scale engineering projects.
Responsibilities:
* Cost Management: Prepare detailed cost estimates, budgets, and bills of quantities. Manage project expenditure, track variations, and ensure financial targets are met.
* Contract Administration: Oversee the preparation and management of subcontractor contracts. Review, validate, and negotiate subcontractor invoices and claims. Ensure compliance with all contractual terms and conditions.
* Tendering and Procurement: Lead tendering processes, preparing comprehensive pricing documentation. Evaluate supplier and subcontractor bids to ensure cost efficiency and value for money.
* Reporting and Documentation: Maintain and oversee accurate records of all cost-related activities. Generate detailed reports on project performance, financial metrics, and forecasts for senior management.
* Client and Stakeholder Liaison: Manage client relationships by providing detailed cost-related information and addressing queries. Negotiate with stakeholders to achieve favorable outcomes for the company.
* Team Collaboration: Work closely with site teams to ensure projects progress within budgets and schedules. Collaborate with project managers and senior leadership to resolve cost-related challenges.
