Job Summary We are seeking an Associate Director – Bioanalytics to join our onsite team in Ballina, Co.
Mayo.
Reporting to the Director of Operations, this leader will oversee our Biosafety/CBA and Analytical Departments, guiding a team of 5 direct reports and a broader team of 75 across key QC, biosafety, and analytical functions.
You will drive operational excellence, support business and client growth, champion digital and system enhancements, and develop a high-performing, collaborative team.

What You'll be doing Lead QC Teams who perform routine product release and stability testing, including compendial, chromatography, immunological, potency, virological safety and molecular methods.
Oversee the team that conducts method transfer for multiple clients in addition to method qualification/validation/verification activities.
With senior leadership, develop strategies for business, client base and product modality growth.
Monitor, trend and take action on team performance in regard to various KPIs/metrics (e.g. on time reporting, right first time, revenue, OI, etc).
Manage finances for the testing departments and headcount to maintain require OI targets.
Work closely with support departments to drive transition towards digital, AI, system enhancements so as to optimise efficiencies.
Qualifications and Competencies Minimum MSc in scientific discipline.
3-5 years' experience running a successful, dynamic business preferably CRO.
Management of P
