Excellent opportunity for a Senior Management Accountant to join our client, a leading manufacturing company based in Cavan, on an 18-24 month fixed-term contract. This is a key appointment within a well-established finance team of nine, reporting directly to the Financial Controller. As Senior Management Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the continued success of the finance function within a dynamic manufacturing environment. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and adhering to SOPs, ensuring accurate and timely month-end reporting, and upholding compliance with both company policies and regulatory requirements. This is a hybrid position based in Cootehill, Co. Cavan, offering four days onsite and one day working from home per week. The contract, spanning 18 to 24 months, has been created to support an internal move within the existing finance team. Key Responsibilities: Ensure efficient and timely completion of month-end reporting Maintain compliance with company policies and relevant financial regulations Provide financial support to other departments to help achieve operational targets Assist with internal and external audits, including SOX compliance Analyse material usage variances for raw materials, powder, and packaging Prepare and gain approval for monthly reconciliations Support site initiatives related to new projects and product launches Post month-end journals, including MUV, CIP, transfer journals, and others as required Key Requirements: Minimum of 3 years experience in a similar Management or Cost Accounting role Background in the manufacturing industry is essential Strong IT skills, with proficiency in financial systems Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Skills: Cavan Management Accountant Hybrid Fixed Term Contract Benefits: Work From Home Hybrid Model Flexible Hours Parking
