We have an opening for a qualified Construction Plant Fitter mechanic or a 3rd/4th year apprentice.
As part of our team you will be required to undertake all levels of maintenance and repairs on a wide range of customer machinery/vehicles including but not limited to forklift trucks, warehouse equipment, light commercials, cars.
You will need to be able to maintain, diagnose, and resolve technical concerns in mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
This role will involve travel to breakdowns/servicing on customer premises thereforeit is essential that applicants have a full licence in order to be considered for this role.
Other requirements for this role:
* The ideal applicant should be qualified - either hold a National Craft Certificate(or similar) or be working towards obtaining one.
* Strong knowledge/experience working on forklift trucks, plant and heavy duty plant equipment or agricultural machinery a must.
* Strong problem solving skills.
* Maintain cleanliness in the workshop, company van and customer vehicles.
* Maintain accurate records of work performed. Record all parts and materials usage.
* Must be reliable, able to work independently or as part of a team and be self-motivated.
Pay will be dependent on experience.
Company van will be provided for travel to customer premises.
Monday - Friday
Overtime available if desired.
