Senior Product Development Leader
About the Role:
This position plays a pivotal role in driving innovation and strategic growth within Research and Development, focusing on developing cutting-edge technologies for Pen Injectors and Auto Injectors.
Main Responsibilities:
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align objectives, leverage market insights, and drive product roadmaps.
* Develop and implement strategies related to Pen and Auto Injectors, ensuring seamless integration with business goals.
* Analyze the competitive landscape, identifying opportunities and challenges in injector technologies.
* Ensure new products are designed for efficient manufacturing and assembly, meeting quality and safety standards.
* Lead and motivate a high-performing team to deliver innovative products with rapid launch timelines.
* Foster collaboration with the Engineering Group to maximize talent development and technical impact.
* Mentor team members and identify opportunities for growth within the Pen Injector Development team.
Requirements & Qualifications:
* Precision engineering or medical device experience preferred.
* Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field; advanced degree preferred.
* Minimum of 15 years of relevant experience in successful matrix organizations.
* At least 10 years' experience in the medical device industry, particularly developing mechanical-based consumable devices.
* Proven experience managing internal teams and third-party consultants.
* Exceptional presentation and communication skills, including executive-level presentations.
* Strong analytical, evaluative, and problem-solving capabilities.
